PURPOSE OF THE MEMBERS ONLY SECTION
Post 5290 Officers and Trustees have no greater priority
than to keep our membership informed and interested in participating in their
Post. The Members Only section on the
VFW Post 5290 web page provides the perfect vehicle for sharing important
information with our friends and fellow Veterans, easily and efficiently. We hope you will actively participate in the
regular monthly membership meetings if you review the communications available
to you PRIOR TO the meetings.
Key documents you find in the Members Only
section are:
- Committee Project Reports – Plans and accomplishments related
to Post business and improvements will be presented, showing what efforts have
been planned, when tasks are due, and what has been completed.
- Elected Officers Report – This report,
filed with VFW National each year, lists all of the Post’s officers and their
contact information.
- Quartermaster’s Monthly/Quarterly Financial
Reports – This report is generated by the Quartermaster each month and
audited by Post Trustees. The report
will be provided on an annual basis, or in other words, January through
December each year (these important reports will always be on file and
available at the Post as well).
- Regular Member Monthly Meeting Agenda – The
agenda for the upcoming month’s meeting shows the structure of our meetings,
topics to be covered, and who will be presenting. It will also contain the details you need to
join the meeting via ZOOM video teleconferencing.
- Regular Meeting Minutes – Meeting minutes from
previous Regular Membership meetings (Zoom videos and written minutes).
